Covid-19 Precautions, Preparedness & Impact


First and foremost, I want to say that I hope this note finds you healthy & safe.  We are living in very uncertain times with life as we know it changing daily based on local government and health official recommendation and restrictions in order to reduce and eliminate the spread of Covid-19 (Coronavirus). As such, I want to be completely transparent with you on the precautions I already take during order processing and fulfillment, my commitment to you to continue those precautions and also go above and beyond those practices during this time, how we will handle order processing and fulfillment in the unfortunate event that me or any of my immediate family become ill, and the impact it may or may not have on you should that happen.

We have received directive from our State Governor that previous restrictions in our state are lifting with the strong suggestion & requirement in some establishments that face masks are worn.  I will continue to limit my trips to the post office for order drop off to a maximum 2 trips per week.  Due to this, you should expect to see additional delay between tracking status “Pre-transit” and "Accepted” or any other status USPS might scan the package as.

On a personal stand point, my office job is having all of us work remotely (from home) indefinitely until further notice. From an order fulfillment perspective, this does not impact current outstanding orders in any way.  Even before the pandemic, I was already working from home 3 days per week.  

Regarding handling of order elements, we are already in the practice of washing and keeping our hands clean before and during handling of materials, products and packaging. However, in light of the current events, we have stepped up precautions to avoid becoming ill all by wearing a face mask anytime we do need to go out in public places and while working on orders and being very strict with washing all of our hands often while we are home. We disinfect frequently touched surfaces like doorknobs, light switches, faucets, handles throughout our home daily and frequently used surfaces multiple times daily.

In the very unfortunate event that me or anyone in my family becomes ill for any reason, all order fulfillment will halt immediately and any potentially impacted customers will be notified of the delay and physical items will be unavailable for purchase. At this time you will be given an option to wait until all are healthy and well again and I am able to resume fulfilling orders or to receive a full refund and cancellation of your order. Please note that my current policy of no refunds/cancellations still applies and the only exception made will be if I am unable to fulfill your order within the processing time set.

My customer health and wellness is top priority and I will do everything I can to ensure I keep you safe while enjoying products handmade by me in my home. Thank you so much for your continued support and trust in my shop to deliver products you love.
